Leung Kee - Aberdeen Centre

Leung Kee is one of the food vendors at Aberdeen Centre with the most traffic. In fact, they've even implemented a screen numbering system to keep up with their heavy flow of customers! They're popular for a reason: they make delicious, authentic Cantonese food, and give out huge portion sizes.

I didn't see this on the menu, but I read a few reviews about it on Urbanspoon and Yelp, so I decide to try it! You have the option to swap out the plain rice for fried rice for an additional $1.00. It came out to about $8.50 for the meal + an iced lemon tea.

I ended up waiting about 10 mins for my food. The portion size was huge and could definitely suffice for 2 people. There were about 5 pieces of pork chops. I ended up eating about 2 pieces and 1/4 quarters of the rice.

Taste wise, it was pretty impressive for a food court! Definitely on par with some casual Cantonese restaurants. The pork chops were perfectly crispy and the interior was very moist. It was seasoned very well without being too salty. The rice was long grain rice and wasn't too dry or soggy. Overall, a delicious meal for the price!
